Kwara Correctional Service decorates 97 newly promoted officers 

The Kwara State Controller of Corrections, kwara state command  Adeyinka Adebayo Oyun has decorates 97 officers in the Command to their respective  ranks.

This was in reference to the Controller General of Corrections letter No. NCoS.003/S.124/T2/92 dated 22nd December, 2023 directing all Heads of Correctional formations to decorate  newly promoted officers in the 2023 promotion exercise in their respective States.

In his opening speech,  he graciously appreciated the (CGCS) Haliru Nababa FICMC, MFR, mni for the good gesture and admonished the officers to get ready for a greater task ahead since promotion comes with additional responsibilities and urged them to be more dedicated to the service.

In a good will message delivered by Coloniel, Theophilus Bamigboye (Rtd) at the venue, he congratulated the newly promoted officers and further employed them to add value to the service and be more productive as much is expected from them.

 

In a vote of thanks, delivered by DCC Olamojin Ibidun on behalf of the newly promoted officers, she applauded the management of the Correctional Service for finding them worthy for the promotion and appreciated the Almighty God for the gift of life to withness the program.

Highlights of the program was exchange of pleasantries, offering of refreshments and jubilations,  coupled with a  photographs.
